What specialist treatment is available at Ashe?
Jenny believes that patients benefit from individual self-help programmes.
Treatment is aimed at relieving the patient's pain, sometimes using
acupuncture; restoring mobility and strength with specific exercises;
and preventing recurrence by teaching the patient improved postural
alignment and by advising on lifestyle, fitness and relaxation.
Jenny
has particular success helping people with:
Back and neck pain, including whiplash
Muscle strains and tendinitis
Ligament sprains of any joint
Tennis elbow, carpal tunnel
Arthritic conditions
Sports injuries (including children's)
Knee and ankle problems
Stress-related conditions
Fractures
and post-surgery

How often will I need to come?
The simpler problems often require only one visit. You will be able
to discuss what further treatment is indicated, if any, at your first
visit.
-
What is the treatment fee?
The fee per treatment session is £38. Home visits at £60
are available by prior arrangement when treatment at Ashe is considered
unsuitable. If you have health insurance, you are advised to check
with your insurer, prior to start of treatment, that your claim will
be honoured.

Can I refer myself?
Yes, you may consult a Chartered Physiotherapist without a doctor's
referral. Physiotherapists are bound by a code of professional conduct,
and work in close cooperation with doctors and other health care professionals
to provide a high standard of treatment.
